Assistant Human Resources Manager - Webster City

Assist in the effective operation of the Human Resources Department; including the efficient administration of benefit programs and maintaining of complete and accurate personnel records. Understand the complete process of payroll; which includes, accurate paychecks with correct hours worked, Paid Time Off, and/or Short-Term Disability hours, deductions for company benefits, garnishment, and taxes and payroll reports all in a timely manner. Provide assistance to all Team Members and/or Applicants. Will also serve as back-up for Human Resources Manager as needed.
College degree or equivalent work experience, payroll processing, understanding of aspects of employment law, and principles of Human Resource Management, ability to work cross-functional to resolve issues, strong project management and organizational skills, ability to manage timeliness and balance multiple deadlines, demonstrate ability to handle internal and external customers in a professional manner, ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learns quickly, solve problems, strong computer skills (including Microsoft Word and Excel), and the ability to exercise good judgement and discretion in handling confidential and/or sensitive material.
