Assist in the effective operation of the Personnel Department; including the efficient administration of benefit programs and maintaining of complete and accurate personnel records. Understand the complete process of payroll; which includes, accurate paychecks with correct number of worked, Paid Time Off, and/or Short-Term Disability hours, deductions for company benefits, garnishment, and taxes, and payroll reports all in a timely manner. Provide assistance to all Team Members and/or Applicants.
College degree or equivalent work experience, complete understanding of all aspects of employment law, payroll processing, and principles of Human Resource Management, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines, ability to meet strict deadlines, strong computer skills (including Word and Excel), strong problem-solving skills, ability to communicate effectively with Team Members throughout the company, and the ability to exercise good judgement and discretion in handling confidential and/or sensitive material.
