Job Details
This position performs a variety of tasks in the Waste Management Department including incinerating solid waste, wastewater treatment, and recycling solid waste materials. Some tasks include: operate equipment to purify and clarify water, collect water and ash samples and decontaminate ash to be land-filled.
Requirements
Must have a high school diploma/GED, frequent reaching, twisting, climbing, and standing through most of the 8-hour shift, must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally, and work “C” shift (11:00pm – 7:30am). Forklift experience is a must.
