CORNBELT® ARCTIC-SHIELD™  has a higher concentration of quality active ingredients to protect to lower burst points. The lower burst point helps prevent costly damage to pipes, containers, and/or tanks. Higher concentration of active ingredients allows for dilution flexibility to achieve desired freeze/burst point threshold while still maintaining strong protection.

Seal & Gasket Protection

CORNBELT® ARCTIC-SHIELD™ contains a seal conditioner to help lubricate seals, and does NOT contain ethyl alcohol. Ethyl alcohol is hygroscopic (absorbs water) but also evaporates quickly, when it evaporates it pulls moisture out of the surrounding material. This causes surrounding material to shrink and harden, leading to cracks in seals and baskets. So why do so many winterizers contain ethyl alcohol? It is a cheaper alternative to propylene glycol.
